The Worst Person I’ve Met So Far!

Well, don’t expect me to tell you who that person is, because I wouldn’t be that mean and reveal their identity. At the same time, I’m writing this for a few reasons; one of them is to share with you how I understand the meaning behind “Horrible/Awful People”, to share a very new experience, because honestly this person made me feel something very new and different, and because in order for me to keep my blog alive I gotta write something, lol!! I will try to keep this post simple and cool for everyone to read.

This person has a lot of bad things jammed together in their personality, and that was a little too much to deal with honestly, I wished to spend more time with this person, but man! There was no chance, not a little small one!

Self Centered!

Being self centered is okay as long as it doesn’t make people look like assholes, and being focused and wanting what’s best for us is something I hope everyone does, moderately, in order to achieve certain goals in life. I really have’t met people who actually devote their lives to others, yet, other than some mothers, and the rest of the world is usually self centered. But! This person has a very obvious issue which makes them look, sound and behave like an asshole, very self centered, very selfish which made them look also rude, because usually a self centered person is an inconsiderate person, and that can be very unbearable

Greedy!

I do not like greed in any level, size and shape. Greed is such an ugly element in humans, and I believe greed, if existing, is a massive destruction in every aspect.

This person went to work everyday, and came back counting their money, they are too greedy they wouldn’t buy themselves good food, or new cloths. They offered me food but didn’t want me to eat it, so they always ate something of my share, and this person is too greedy they wouldn’t offer anything to anyone for free, no way, they just couldn’t.

Well, yes, we shouldn’t expect anything from anyone, but this person was a friend, lol, and at some point in this life I offered some help and things for free for this person to make them feel good. So when it was their turn to return the favor, they fucked up big time, because of greed and selfishness.

Bullshitter!

Bullshitters are the last type of people you wanna deal with, for me personally, I’m madly blunt, honest and I have no time for bullshit, lies and empty promises.

This person is a very good bullshitter, they never did anything they said, or promised to do. A few times we were supposed to do certain things together and they simply didn’t show up, they didn’t bother to apologize. They promised a lot of things, things I didn’t ask for, that when I heard all those promises I thought to myself “OH MY GOD! I’M SUCH A LUCKY PERSON TO HAVE SUCH AWESOME FRIENDS” but lol! No! Every single promise they made, they broke, they broke within a few hours. RED FLAG WHEN TOO MUCH TALKING HAPPENS BEFORE THE ACTION!

Cheap Ass!

Yes we all like to go on dates, and we all like to be noticed, and we all maybe try to find our other half, or find someone with whom we can have fun somehow. But dude! This person would cancel all the plans in the universe to be on a date with someone, regardless of the situation and the conditions. For them DATE means RUN, because if they didn’t RUN after it, someone else will and going to take it, PROBABLY!

You don’t want to be friends with a cheap ass, especially if this cheap ass is already a greedy selfish asshole. LOL

Unrealistic!

realism varies from one person to another person, but please try to be realistic to that point where you don’t contradict with yourselves.

This person told me some bad stories about their father, and how their father ditched them, how their father made so many empty promises, how their father didn’t come to check on their step mom when she got some serious illness, how their father is greedy and never helps anyone financially, how their father is a womanizer, and how their father is extremely selfish, and how they stopped talking to their father completely, and stopped wanting to see him, and how even they hate their father and they don’t even want to know where their father is.

Then there was some awkward silence, because when this person was narrating all those bad stories and negativitoes about the guy, I actually felt very embarrassed and ashamed somehow, and they did too feel some sort of awkwardness, and ended the conversation by saying: “Yes, I sound and look and behave like my father now! But the difference between us is that I’m willing to change and be different, but my father never wanted to change!”

Baaang! Seriously? If your own father made you feel so damn bad in this life when he was around, that you ran away from him, why on earth would you be another copy of something you hate?! Can anyone explain that to me? Anyways!

Bottom line!

I had to spend a few days with this person, I wasn’t really sure if they are okay or not, but I all the time felt uncomfortable and unhappy around them. I felt so unhappy  and so irritated that I ended up running away from them, I literally collected my stuff and ran to the train station and I flew by plane to another place, without notifying them, and without saying good bye. I hope we never meet again, and I also hope, that life doesn’t send me another person whom I end up categorizing as another “WORST PERSON I’VE EVER MET” lol

This person a few days later sent me this song, and it made me laugh, because this person also showed me that they didn’t mature yet, although they are so proud of themselves being so independent.

Sharing a Horrible Zumba® Experience! Just saying!

Zumba Fitness
Zumba Fitness

So everyone expects  Zumba to be a happy thing, right?

I’m originally a Les Mills instructor, I decided to enroll myself in Zumba Fitness different instructors’ training courses due to the markets’ demand, and second my appreciation to dancing in general.

On the 27th of this month, which is two days ago, I have been to a Zumba Step instructors’ training, fully willing and fully aware of what I was doing. I have registered during February this year, before I got my joints infection attacking my feet, and so when the time came to do Zumba Step I thought I can do it, since two days before I was on a Les Mills RPM module training, which is more serious, strict and physically demanding, besides the assessments we had to go through during these two days in order to initially pass or fail, and what motivated me to go on for the Zumba Step, is that the RPM master trainer did make sure to let me know what my duties and responsibilities were during the RPM module so I deliver what they expected me to, on the other hand the master trainer did actually let me rest and take small breaks when I thought my feet were not gonna hold me standing or pedaling longer, and I passed it, so i thought Zumba Step is easier and less serious and the ZES, Zumba Educational Specialist, are usually more relaxed, so no biggy, no biggy at all!

Among the instructors we had another Les Mills instructor who had a recent knee surgery, her knee hurts and my feet hurt and we both had a reason why we should have rested every now and then. But this is what we have been told by the ZES: IF YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT FIT ENOUGH FOR THE PROGRAM TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE, IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO EVERYTHING WE ARE GOING TO DO HERE THEN TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE.

It was kinda shocking to hear such words coming from a person who claims to have knee problems, and weird enough to hear such things from a person who claims to have been in the fitness industry for over a decade. Fitness instructors usually are aware of injuries and different health problems, and the majority of them have been through some injuries, whether they were small or big, they do know what it means to be injured and still want to continue education and career. So calling Les Mills instructors UNFIT, like me and my colleague in that case, is totally unacceptable. We weren’t there to judge or be judged.

Besides that the one day session was a one man’s show! Everything had to roam around that ZES, who’s name I’m not going to mention:

  • WHEN I WAS IN MY TWENTIES I WAS SLIM, I WAS FIT, I HAD 6 PACKS!
  • I WAS A LES MILLS INSTRUCTOR TEACHING THIS AND THAT!
  • WHEN I TALK YOU LISTEN, AND NO ONE ELSE IS ALLOWED TO TALK!
  • I HAVE FOUND MY RELAXATION TECHNIQUES: BODY BALANCE, JUNK AND WINE.
  • I DON’T WANT TO BE FIT ANYMORE, I WANNA EAT ALL THE BAD THINGS IN LIFE.

And lots of other bluffing like: THE BAR TENDER IN THE HOTEL IN AMMAN WAS SURPRISED WHEN I ORDERED BEER AS A WOMAN!

Here is what I want to say:

  • We paid money and came to learn not to get to know you!
  • Don’t judge us for being injured and sick, because one day you might also be in our shoes.
  • Zumba Step specialty is kinda new and we did want to be among the first instructors in Jordan, my country where I live now, to have its license and teach it, so appreciate our attendance, we have disregarded our situations, so respecting it would be much better than whatever you have done.
  • Don’t ask me to leave or reschedule because such specialties are not coming every other week to my country.
  • Honestly I don’t need a ZES to teach me anything in Zumba, I just need the manual and the DVDs for the program, you should be glad I came.
  • Fitness instructors no matter what TRY AND LOOK AND SEEM AND BEHAVE HEALTHY, so we never talk about junk, smoking, alcohol, etc in front of our students/members.
  • Bragging about the past won’t bring the it back, so get real please.
  • During Les Mills module training courses so far I never heard the word Zumba, so why mention Les Mills during a Zumba training. There is no way to compare this with that, please! And don’t change the channel.
  • Jordan is an Arab Muslim country, but drinking became so usual and normal, bar tenders don’t freak out seeing ladies asking for alcohol, I suggest you try another way to show off or look like an outcast or feel special. You were in Jordan not Saudi Arabia. And holding such a job of yours, you must be very accustomed to cultural differences and not mention them at all.
  • We are adults too, just like you, so let’s not play kids and teacher here, never ever!

Anyway, thanks for reading, I really never been through such a horrible experience trying to learn something new in fitness. I felt I was serving in the military that day bossed by someone who’s mental.

Katia 🙂
